Q1. How much does it cost?
£7.50 per hour for Years 3 to 6. Most centres charge £15–£30. We keep fees low so all families can access quality education. Results show it works, with grammar school success in 2026.
Q2. Do you have contracts?
No contracts. Pay monthly for attended sessions only. No notice period, no penalties, and you can stop anytime.
Q3. What is the FREE assessment?
A 1.5-hour English and Maths check based on school learning only. You receive full feedback and a learning plan. No obligation to continue.
Q4. What age do you teach?
We teach children aged 7 to 11 (Years 3 to 6).
Q5. When is the Reading Boys exam?
Mid-July of Year 5. It is early, so preparation should start in Year 3 or 4.
Q6. When is the Kendrick exam?
Mid-September of Year 6. Ideal preparation starts from Year 3, latest Year 4.
Q7. Is one year enough?
No. Both exams require years of preparation. Starting early builds calm, confident, and strong learners.
Q8. What subjects do you cover?
Reading Boys: 12 subjects including Maths, English, Science, History, and more. Kendrick: Maths, English, VR, NVR. Plus KS2 and SATs support.
Q9. Will my child get homework?
Yes. Homework is given after every session to reinforce learning. Parent involvement helps faster progress.
Q10. How soon will I see improvement?
Most children improve within 3 months with regular attendance and home practice.
Q11. Do you offer mock exams?
Yes. We run timed mock exams and recommend external mocks for full exam experience.
Q12. What is your success rate?
Around 80% of ready students pass the 11+. In 2026, 4 students gained grammar school places.
Q13. Do you offer scholarships?
Occasionally, based on long-term assessment of ability and need. These are offered privately, not applied for.
